Workshop “Strategic Foresight and Digital Europe” with the German Federal Chancellery

The Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is conducting a two-part workshop with the German Federal Chancellery to reflect on the strategic implications of the future scenarios from the “Digital Europe 2030” project

The Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is conducting a two-part workshop with the German Federal Chancellery to reflect on the strategic implications of the future scenarios from the “Digital Europe 2030” project.

The project “Digital Europe 2030" brings together the topics of the public sphere and digital sovereignty and systematically analyses possible futures in order to provide new impulses to Germany’s European politics. In a variety of working sessions, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft, together with an interdisciplinary group of experts and methodically supported by the company Foresight Intelligence, has developed possible scenarios for the year 2030.

The results of this foresight process can, however, only be effective if they are further thought through together with key political and economic actors. For this reason, the Alfred Herrhausen Gesellschaft is conducting a two-part online workshop together with representatives of the Federal Chancellery. In the first module of the workshop, the scenarios for a Digital Europe 2030 will be presented in order to derive strategic questions from them. The second module will then focus on the prioritisation of the resulting questions as well as a discussion of Strategic Foresight as an instrument of modern governance.

Participation in the workshop is by invitation only. If you have any questions, please contact Samuel Walker.
